Freelance Chauffeur
Since starting Drive Arrive in July 2015 the business has become one of the best private hire chauffeuring companies locally and we are now looking for another freelance self employed chauffeur to join our multi award winning team.
To be considered you must be over 30 years of age with an HDC drivers badge/license, have a good driving record, be presentable with a good work ethic, demonstrate good literacy and numeracy skills and have the ability to continually uphold our exacting standards. You would also be reliable, punctual and fully understand the importance of discretion and the vital confidentiality aspect of the role.
We are based on Stukeley Meadows in Huntingdon and you would need to collect one of our three vehicles for each job you are assigned. You would also need to possess a smart phone as we allocate jobs with the full details via our interactive cloud booking system for which our free app is required.
The work involves only long distance journeys, airport transfers, business chauffeuring etc......no taxi or minicab type work and you would join our other self employed chauffeur in sharing ad hoc work. The assignments will be mainly daytime and weekday transfers but early starts, late finishes and weekend commitment would be required. Flexibility of time is also a must.
Before the Corona Virus lockdown approx 8 jobs per week were available and the aim is to select a suitable person and get them through the licensing process for when things return to normal again.
This position would ideally suit a recently retired member of the three emergency services or forces as our business model is based around advanced driving credentials. This is not essential but I would require to be a passenger in your vehicle for a driving assessment. The pay is based on a set percentage of our fares and is circa £15.00 per hour with zero expenses and we pay immediately upon receipt of an invoice. A company fuel and credit card are provided and training will be given to the successful candidate.

If you are a fully licensed and insured local private hire owner driver/operator with late executive or luxury cars in Cambridgeshire, the surrounding areas or are based near the airports and would like to be paid within hours of completing a job please read on. If you are outside Huntingdonshire District Council area you must have your own operators license.
Since starting Drive Arrive in July 2015 I have seen continued and sustained growth in business and now is the time to expand and move to the next level with the introduction of a cloud booking system with more owner drivers.
I am looking for professional local chauffeurs to join the team who can continually uphold the very high standards that have led to the success of Drive Arrive so far. Because of our outstanding service we are able to pay drivers an attractive rate which you, if successful, will share.
This team of drivers will be rewarded for their loyalty and dedication by receiving payment as soon as the job is completed, this is the commitment you can expect from Drive Arrive. I already employ a number of selected happy owner drivers who enjoy this arrangement and have demonstrated their commitment to the team. It's actually a very simple and fair formula. Everyone in this group also has the facility to network and collaborate with everyone else via our WhatsApp group called 'Drivers chat'.
New drivers will be required to possess a smart phone to be part of our booking system that sends interactive emails and app alerts for ad hoc jobs and a WhatsApp group for communication.

Successful applicants should be well presented with a friendly manner and have excellent literacy and numeracy skills. Those with the right credentials will be invited to a meeting or Skype/FaceTime interview as the next stage. If successful you will be required to submit all your legal documents which I am required to hold copies of by law. Once these are received you will be added as a self employed sub contractor into the system and available for work. Regular checks will be carried out and feedback encouraged from clients you drive to ensure our exacting standards are continually maintained.
