COVID-19, our protocols.
Due to the escalating COVID-19 situation at the time of writing this 49 transfers have been cancelled. This problem is clearly taking hold now and I personally want to reassure clients, bookers and passengers that we are following Public Health England and the World Health Organisations advice.
As part of our duty of care we are taking this seriously and can assure you our vehicles are cleaned after each transfer with anti-viral alcohol based disinfectants and hand sanitisers and wipes are provided for customer use.
I have today emailed all 26 drivers with details of a reporting structure should they be diagnosed with the virus, suspect they may have the virus or have come into contact with anyone who has the virus. As well as advising them of best hygiene practices I have sent them this link https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/ and will of course continually monitor the situation.
We understand the need for business and travel in general to continue as much as possible and while our hands are tied regarding cancelled flights we are more than happy to provide customers with a safe, clean and confidential ground transport solution for business meetings and travel anywhere in the UK or Europe. Hearing that airport and now Transport for London staff are infected our clean and sterile 'wait and return' service offers a very viable and safe alternative.
